Fashion is a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, body,
or furniture. Fashion is a distinctive and often constant trend in the
style in which a person dresses. It is the prevailing styles in behavior and the newest creations of textile designers. Fashion can also be said to be a popular style of clothes, hair, manners, habits, etc. at a
particular time or place. Clothes they say, marks out a man’s status.A model (from Middle French modelle) is a person with a role either to promote, display, or advertise commercial products (notably fashion clothing) or to serve as a visual aide for people who are creating works of art or to pose for photography.
Modeling is considered to be different from other types of public performance, such as acting or dancing, although the difference between modelling and performing is not always clear.
There are different types of modelling: fashion, glamour, fitness, bikini, fine art,
body-part, promotional and commercial print models. Models are featured
in a variety of media.And finally, A make-up artist as we all know is an artist whose medium is the human body, applying makeup and prosthetic for theatrical, television, film making, fashion, magazines and other similar productions including all aspects of the modeling industry.
Believe it or not, Fashion and branding in which these three professions are very much involved has become powerful forces in the contemporary world and Nigeria is fast becoming one of the countries contributing immensely to that force.It is on this note that the House of Duchess has decided to organize a show that will fuse these three together and of course appreciate them individually.
Expect to see the very best of the best on the run way that that day, the best of the fashion Designs, Make-up Artists, and amazing models doing their thing on the run way!
The Event is set to hold sometime in December 2016, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.

This is an exciting new platform that HOD is putting together, it will be show casing the traditional, the innovative, the conventional and unconventional approach and appreciation to the art of beauty.
The designers are going to be tested on their creativity and models signed on the different segment that will be assigned to them.
Makeup artists will be tested on their unique style, the
reality and nature of their make up. Models will be tested on how they walk on the runway, how they strike their pose and charisma!
The fashion designers will be competing to win a cash price of 100 (One Hundred Thousand)
Make-up artist N30 (Thirty Thousand Naira)
Best Female/Male Model N20 (Twenty Thousand Naira)
